TubeCMS uses the official YouTube Data API v3 to fetch your channel's videos, thumbnails, descriptions, and statistics. It periodically checks for new uploads and updates view counts automatically. You can configure the sync frequency in the admin settings.
TubeCMS requires a server with .NET 8 runtime, minimum 2GB RAM (4GB recommended), and at least 1GB of disk space plus additional space for media uploads. It runs on Linux, Windows, or Docker.
Yes! TubeCMS includes a WordPress import feature that can migrate your posts, images, and content. The import wizard guides you through the process and lets you preview the migration before committing.
Absolutely. Since TubeCMS is self-hosted, all your data stays on your server. The built-in analytics don't use any third-party tracking services, and no personal visitor data is collected or shared.
TubeCMS includes a built-in update system. You can check for and apply updates directly from the admin panel. Before any update, the system automatically backs up your database for safety.
TubeCMS supports SQLite (default, great for most installations) and MySQL (recommended for high-traffic sites). SQLite requires no additional setup, while MySQL offers better performance for larger deployments.
